We dependent on our “smart” phones, tablets, and computers.
We are increasingly hooked and dependent of our “smart” phones, tablets, and computers. They send us all sorts of information, true, false, and fabricated to please or displease the reader. He, often, does not understand the nuances because, among other things, of the speed at which the information circulates. Charlatans, impostors, and crooks abound, they go fishing and get their hands on anything that bites, and it bites!
Counterfeiters, pirates, and simple petty thieves can easily bypass legislation. Legal ticket reseller sites can also circumvent these laws, which is pure theft in my opinion. We are at the mercy of the Internet. Radio-Canada and La Presse newspaper are still linking Facebook on their sites. Let’s look for errors, even Revenue Quebec uses it…
Why is CRTC or another institution not taking making the internet safer in the country? Our democracy, nothing less, our institutions, our businesses, etc. are at stake right now. Why are we lagging behind and not one step ahead of what is coming?
The Internet is something very good and very bad at the same time. It is the Yin and the Yang in a way. In the same breath, we self-build and self-destroy. Lets regulate internet to protect us from crooks.
We must act before we lose everything
